An in-progress pilot script that follows Cami, a 20-something film critic who has made her living analyzing romantic comedies—despite never having a romantic relationship. When she starts teaching at a progressive Boston college, she's forced to confront the true root of her self-imposed isolation.

i've written for...

She graduated from Emerson College as a part of their honors program, with her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in media studies in December 2024. Her honors thesis titled “Humans Only Have One Ending. Ideas Live Forever:” Auteur Theory and Women Filmmakers Post #MeToo explores the contemporary implications of auteurist ideals.

Isa has interned at a range of news media organizations, including a bilingual newsweekly, a public media collaboration across four different states, one of the largest regional papers in the country and a high-end fashion magazine.​ 

Throughout her five years in journalism, she has been published in outlets nationwide including The Boston Globe, Business Insider, the Kansas City Star and NPR, among others. For two years, she was the Managing Editor of Your Magazine, Emerson College's largest lifestyle publication as well as a nationally-recognized, award-winning magazine. 

is an award-winning journalist and writer originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently the social media producer at Fast Company where she oversees the magazine's digital presence.
